Alena is a Russian-born set and costume designer. She creates open and aesthetic atmospheres, often reusing what is lost in a theatre’s storage. She graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama London with specialisation in Design Realisation. During her studies she participated in Prague Quadrennial as part of the UK student design team selected by Society of British Theatre Designers. She also has a background in Fine Art with a foundation diploma from Central Saint Martins London. Alena lives since 2016 in Vienna, Austria.
